I decided to make some candle decorations since I LOVE candles. I saw this cute idea on the table at our church coffeeshop. They were decorating for the fall but can easily adapt to the Christmas holidays.. Did I mention it's easy and cheap to make?
What you'll need:
Christmas Ribbon (wire is best)
Candleholder (I used votive sized)
Candle
Berries from craft store
Glue (that dried clear)
Take ribbon and twist until you get a circle pattern, then tie in knot
Tie ribbon into bow and shape and then cut off excess
Break apart the berry stems clumping together one to two and putting it into the folds of the ribbon on the otherside of the bow. Also add leaves with the berries... Glue in place.
Let dry then put candleholder in center and candle...
You can use whatever you'd like instead of the berries. Depending on how big your ribbon is and how tightly you twisted it can determine what would fit such as flowers, leaves, pine tree branches, christmas decorations etc...

Very pretty. This is a terrific frugal holiday decorating idea.
