School is back in session after three weeks off for my newly 10 yr old son's birthday, Christmas and New Year's. We've had a great start to our school for the New Year. My oldest son didn't have any projects this week. My DS10 did have a couple and here they are below..

For science my son started learning about the Constellations and stars. He did an experiment that helped him understand what magnitude was.
Took a flashlight and covered the light with aluminum foil
Poked a small hole then shined this onto a piece of white paper. DS10 then drew the circle of what the light shown on the paper
Did this two more times by making the hole bigger and bigger and continuing to draw a circle on the paper. Circles represented the magnitude size of a star..
