Homeschool Week 16 in Review

We finished up Week 16 last week. Time is flying.. almost half the school year is done already and still going strong. Love that feeling. I just found out this week that my DS12's history curriculum will not have a grade 8 for next year. So I will have to do some serious prayer on what to do for him next year. A little wrench in my simple planning..

Today is a day off for us as hubby has it off so we will be getting back to the books starting tomorrow with a four day week for my oldest. DS10 already does 4 days so it won't affect him at all..

There was just three projects that were done this week. One from DS12 and two from DS10. Here they are below..

DS12:



Made a poster of a homestead for his history project this week. He had to draw his own homestead plot and add details.

For science he did an experiment on how stars glisten in the sky...



In history he designed his own amphora...
