3 in 30 February Challenge Update

3in30 Challenge

My 3 goals I've been working on are below for February.

1. Crafting- I didn't get to any cards this week but did get creative by designing my own organizer so I can keep everything together. I hope to post about it sometime this weekend.

2. Food- I have all but given up on trying to restrict myself of sweets. I am eating it in moderation, I am still at my calorie goals for the day and my exercise is awesome so I am no longer going to be a slave to it! If I feel the scale move up which it hasn't then that's when I will recheck it and see. I am checking my calories on myfitnesspal.com. This is an awesome free website and it really keeps me accountable of my food intake. MUCH BETTER than writing it in a spiral book which is what I've been doing since September. This is much more accurate then how I was doing it!

3. Quality Time- I really feel this is a habit for me now. I've been working since January to make spending time with my boys a daily thing and I have really worked hard at making this a reality. I now think to spend time with them each and everyday and I love how our relationship is blossoming. Less arguing which is a wonderful blessing. I not only spend quality time with them I am also reading books on raising boys and this has really helped me in understanding the male mind/body..

  2. Hi! I love how you said you are "no longer a slave to it!!" I remember the scripture
Everything is permissible for me but not everything is beneficial.
Everything is permissible for me but I will not be mastered by anything. (1 Cor 6:12)

Also I too realize that when I give my full focus to my children each day I connect with them SO much better and they don't seem so needy for my attention throughout the day. We enjoy each other more.

    You are doing great!

  4. Gosh girl, sounds like your doing well.
Your goal of spending time with the boys is a great idea as to often we neglect that since we are with them all day! Saw your note of facebook that you dropped weight again..yeah, but remember not to be a slave to the scale. As your muscle tone builds you may gain muscle weight...and that is better than okay! :)
