We occasionally listen to classical music with our children but don't currently give as much exposure/teaching of it as I would like. It's something I plan to start more of over the summer and extend into next school year.

ReplyDeleteMostly, I play classical music in the back ground and the kids love trying to figure out which one it is. I would like to study it a little more as the kids do enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI have not yet used classical music in our homeschooling.
ReplyDeleteWe are fortunate enough to have a private christian college in our community. We attend the orchestra concerts, jazz band concerts, big band concerts..anything they offer. It comes to about 1 concert a month, some months more. Before and after concerts we discuss the instruments, styles of music and composers they may have recognized. Through this exposure my children have developed interest in different instruments. We are looking into guitar and violin lessons for next school year!
