A Treasure Concealed
by Tracie Peterson

There is more than gold to be found in these hills.
Emily Carver longs to have a home of her own, but instead she endures a transient existence in the gold mining camps of Montana, where her father's hopes for riches lie endlessly buried. Promises of wealth from this wild land have brought only hardship and disappointment, causing Emily to wonder if her own modest dreams will ever see the light of day.

Caeden Thibault, a young geologist working for the government, is a man trying to escape the pain of his past, and the idyllic mountains of Montana serve his purposes well. In the course of his work, he has seen more than his share of starry-eyed gold seekers. So when Emily Carver catches his attention, he is intrigued by the fact that she isn't pinning her hopes on striking it rich.

Will an unexpected discovery come between them or draw them together?

My Thoughts on This Book:

I absolutely love Tracie Peterson's style of writing. The history she shares makes me feel like I'm living in that time period. This book had an extra special place in my heart since I live in the area where this book takes place.. Big Sky Country Montana... Getting to live through the eyes of Emily and Caeden in the wild west of Montana during the Gold Rush..

This story tugged on my heart as tragedy strikes the family one after the other and all Emily's father wants to do for his family is to strike it rich and provide everything he can for them. When Caeden comes to town to do his job, he finds himself wrapped up into the lives of the Carver's. Thinking he was better off alone, time with Emily may be changing his mind and heart... Well written and can't wait to read the second in this Sapphire Brides series...
