Into the Fire
By Irene Gannon

Book Review

Irene has a wonderful way to knit romance and suspense together so perfectly. Each complements the other. We get to know Bri, the fire investigator whose past brings pain and sadness while keeping everyone at arms length.

She meets Marc, the ATF Agent, when she is assigned to work with him to investigate the death of a retired fire investigator. While more questions stir than answers, she is confronted with bad situations that she's not sure relates to her current investigation or if it's personal in nature. Will the sparks she gets when she's around Marc be something she ignores or can she open her heart to him and find true happiness? You will love this story so much, you won't want to put it down until the end. That's how it was for me. She has become one of my favorite authors and I know she will be for you too.

About the Book

As a former smokejumper, arson investigator Bri Tucker knows her way around fires. But after a mysterious blaze takes the life of a former colleague, Bri inherits a curious puzzle from him that raises questions about several fiery deaths. Someone, however, doesn't want her picking up where he left off in search of answers.

When she teams up with ATF Special Agent Marc Davis to solve the puzzle, the danger escalates. But will they manage to track down the person behind the mysterious deaths before their budding romance--and maybe even their lives--go up in flames?

The bestselling and award-winning queen of romantic suspense is back with a brand-new series that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping as you burn through the pages to discover the truth.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. No other compensation was given.
