My 3 goals I've been working on are below for February. I know I'm a bit late (AGAIN) getting this posted. I can't seem to get it done over the weekend!! ugh!
1. Crafting- No cards were made this week. Actually nothing creative has been made outside of schoolwork.. I will have to work more on this this coming week.
2. Food- This has been a HUGE challenge for me. I'm taking one day at a time in reducing my sweets. I did have two days this week without and tonight will be another day without so moving forward. All of the sweets I eat are ones I've made... I have not made any other sweets so we are at the end of the stash.. Thank You Jesus.. With the stash gone the temptation is lifted and it really helps.. I just know that if I stop or truly reduce this craving I can actually see the weight loss come off.. I haven't lost a pound in 5 weeks and that's when I started eating sweets more..
3. Quality Time- I have really been enjoying this one. Each day I've been looking at things to do with my boys. I am still reading out loud each night with the boys. They are really loving this.
My husband snapped this photo of us reading one night this past week.
Also we had a picnic in the living room for dinner.. Went to a hands on Science museum, State Capital and a carousel on Friday for fun! As a family we went to a sapphire mine to sift for precious stones.. I also normally go to the store or my outings alone.. This past week I made sure to take one of my boys on each trip so I could spend time with them, talking and getting to know each other better.. The boys really liked that!
like the pic of you and the boys....good job on your goals, the cards will come in time, you did the "important" one, kids...Keep it up.
