Oatmeal Fig Bars

I found the most delicious fig bar recipe online at Alida's Kitchen. I love fig bars and have made my own fig newtons in the past but that particular recipe was a bit time consuming. When I saw this recipe to make homemade oatmeal fig bars, I thought... mmmm... I must try this..

The family was NOT disappointed. They were delicious and a huge hit, plus they were easy to make. I'd retype the recipe but figured you can go to her direct page HERE to print it out. All the ingredients she used I just substituted with organic and tasted yummy! She has an easy print option. Can't beat that.. Enjoy!!!
