Random 5 on Friday- May 16th

The Pebble Pond

Joining in with The Pebble Pond and her weekly meme "Random 5 on Friday" Five random things in my life right now:

1. I have a giveaway going on my blog right now until May 24th. I'm giving away two Maestro Classics CD's and Activity books.. Check it out @ Maestro Classics Giveaway

2. I'm looking to blog more. More personal. About my family, things that are going on here etc. I have a list of things to post over the next few days that are things I've made and places we've been. I've let it go lately with all that I've been doing off line. It seems the only time I've had to get on my blog lately has been for my reviews and that's going to change. Less reviews and more me. I have posts about a field trip we've taken, all about my Women of Faith weekend, Mother's Day, some family fun pics, some recipes I've made and more. Can't wait to share....

3. I'm going strong on my Bible in 90 Days reading. With the help of my friend I took three days off of reading while I was in Billings for the Women of Faith conference so I'll be finishing up that many days later which is fine. This Sunday I'll finally be in the New Testament.. YEAH!

4. All the curriculum for my youngest son has been purchased, lesson planner made and ready for Summer break here on May 30th. We are still praying over my oldest son. He's currently attending the local high school as a freshman. He will be finishing up his school year on June 6th. We are still confused on whether it's best to keep him where he is or bring him back home. This has been a tough decision for us last year and it hasn't gotten any easier as time has gone on. I do know that my relationship with him has grown so much over the past year and the arguing has been minimal. Having him gone during the day has helped my youngest with his schooling time, since we aren't arguing over my oldest getting his work done, it's really set a more positive dynamic with our family time. We have the Summer to pray about it and I will definitely be doing that. God knows and He's in charge.

5. Gathering up all my curriculum to sell. Decided to sell as much as I can this year at the local homeschool curriculum sale. I've never joined in before mainly because I've been able to sell my stuff online, but feel I'll start this way and what's left I'll put on my blog. Keep an eye out after June 6th...
